Motivate Me Monday :: Joy Seeker

"J O Y
is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life,
the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright,
and the determined choice to praise God in every situation."

Dear Friend with Faith like a Seesaw,

the following is from one of my favorite devotionals, Jesus Calling ~

Relax in my healing hold presence. Allow me to transform you through this time alone with Me.  As your thoughts center more and more on Me, trust displaces fear and worry.  Your mind is somewhat like a seesaw.  As your trust in me goes up, fear and worry automatically go down.

{via Joe Blanck}

Time spent with Me not only increases your trust; it also helps you discern what is important and what is not.
Energy and time are precious, limited entities.  Therefore, you need to use them wisely,  focusing on what is truly important.  As you walk close to Me, saturating your your mind with scripture, I will show you how to spend your time and energy.

Ephesians 5:15
"Be very careful, then, how you live —not as unwise but as wise"
Psalm 119:105
" Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."

Sincerely,

ATTITUDE

by: Charles Swindoll

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes."

Agree?  Disagree?

Sincerely,
Heidi
