Motivate Me Monday :: Joy Seeker

"J O Y
is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life,
the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright,
and the determined choice to praise God in every situation."

Dear Friend With an Uncertain Road Ahead,

In the midst of uncertain circumstances...

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
 Isaiah 41:10

Sincerely,

Dear Friend in need of Renewal,

I'm finding myself in a bit of a 'funk' more often than I'd like these days.

Tuning my mind and heart on my ROCK & REDEEMER for relief and renewal in the midst of it...

Dear Mindful Friend,

“People are just about as happy

as they make up their minds to be.”

 ~Abraham Lincoln~

Our thoughts are powerful.

Do you ever think about your thoughts?

The life we lead is created and driven by our thoughts.

Will your thoughts will lead to happiness today?

What will you choose?

ATTITUDE

by: Charles Swindoll

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes."

Agree?  Disagree?

Sincerely,
Heidi
